Proceed down the B6101 from New Mills towards Marple for approximately one mile. Waterside Road is on the left, turn into this road and proceed downhill. A car park is available on the l.h.s. of the road(the entrance to this car park is stll subject to restrictions due to installation of gas pipes). You may leave the car park through a gate,there is a sign indicating that this footpath is part of the Goyt Way. Go down the steps to the footpath alongside the river,the left hand bank going upstream is available to DNMAC members up to the sewage works near New Mills Central railway station.On the evening of the visit to this site there were some large fish rising near the style.
