A stunning, isolated venue on the Derbyshire/Greater Manchester border.
Linnet Clough Reservoir lies on the boundary of Greater Manchester and Derbyshire near the towns of Mellor and Marple. The reservoir is noted mainly for its quality carp but also contains roach, a small number of large bream and tench.
The reservoir, which due to the lengthy and steep walk required to access the water, may be inaccessible for less mobile anglers but for those prepared to make the trip this water offers quality fishing in stunning surroundings.
Carp, a handful of double figure bream, an increasing population of tench, gudgeon, perch and quality roach inhabit Linnet Clough.
As with all our waters check the News Blog and the Club Book for additional rules regarding this venue.
