Dovecotes Lodge

Dovecotes is one of DNMAC's newest venues. Located near the village of Strines the main focal point of this 1.5 acre millpool is the Grade II listed Victorian dovecote, restored by the Strines Recreation Ground Charity in 2007, which is located on a small island in the middle of this picturesque pool.

Not a known specimen water this venue offers easily accessible, pleasure fishing for a variety of species.

The Backwater, also known as the Garden Lodge, behind the main lakes is now also controlled by the Club. This water contains fish to be grown on for restocking but can be fished and would be particularly good for training sessions and those getting into fishing.

Fish Species

This fishery has been stocked with a variety of silver fish, and some large bream to 5lb. Small trout are also present in the water
