Church Road to Goytside farm and the Torrs

The access to this site is from the Hayfield side of the Goyt bridge on Church road(A6015). I parked my car in the supermarket(Coop) car park and then went back to the bridge to where there is a sign marked Millenium Way and proceeded down to the river.The fishing rights to this stretch are on the left as you walk upstream.If you walk in the other direction i.e.downstream this takes you to the Torrs and fishing rights are on the same side. I now understand from a member of the committee that you can drive down the slope at the side of the bridge and park carefully on the side away from the river. Click here to return to menu page
